Well, I have very high standards and expectations and in today’s world, I unfortunately find myself having to settle for less and less. Like most moving into an empty nest situation, we struggled with exactly what we wanted and where we wanted to be. Tammy showed a lot of patience throughout the process as we changed search parameters SEVERAL times. At the time, our son was a sophomore in high school so she knew that this was not going to be a quick transaction with us but that did not stop her from making the investment in us throughout the full two-year journey. Tammy showed us several properties over that time frame and also gave us knowledgeable insights into neighborhoods, new projects and the rapidly evolving housing market at the time. She was so well connected; at times she was able to get us into houses prior to them getting on the market to “preview” so we could have an early or first view. Fast forward to the spring of 2022 (our son’s senior year) and the housing market is really starting to heat up with the added pressure of interest rate hikes looming in the near future. All this considered, we made an instinctive decision to list the house on VERY short notice. It was a Monday and we decided to have the house on the market by Friday. The coordinated effort with Tammy and her team to get this done was nothing short of AMAZING. Everything from lawn prep (curb appeal) house cleaning, staging, photography and of course getting it listed on MLS. In the end, the house looked incredible thanks to the small details that Tammy suggested. Turned out some of those small details really made a big difference in the end. As I look back on that week, I still don’t know how we were able to pull that off. To say the least, we had over a dozen offers by Monday that far exceeded our expectations and went under contract the next day. Now another level of anxiety sets in as we think about or next house. We have not fully figured that out. Where exactly do we want to be? Will the right property come on the market in time? Low and behold, one of the “preview” houses that Tammy showed us two months earlier happened to go on the market the following week. It was only because we had already done a walk through on this property that we were in a position to make the right offer within hours of it hitting the MLS and go under contract before any other buyers had a chance to set foot in the house. I’m writing this review two days after the close of that property reflecting back on the two-year journey with Tammy and can’t be any more pleased with our experience. I’m not a big fan of reviews but felt obligated to write this because......simply put, Tammy earned it. She provided my wife and I an incredible experience by providing a high level of professionalism, knowledge, connections, guidance, communication and most of all patience’s and a cool head through the stressful moments of selling and buying a house. I take a lot of pride in my work ethic truly don’t believe many have the ability to out work me but I found my match in Tammy. On top of all the attributes mentioned above, she’s an incredibly hard-working person. I honestly don’t know how she finds the time. Of course, we would highly recommend Tammy and if you choose to work with her (not sure why you wouldn’t) don’t forget to ask about the lucky elephant picture ??. As a buyer, I was at a disadvantage coming in as only a 2nd time home buyer, moving to Atlanta from out of state (new job) and having substantial timing constraints both in terms of how fast I needed to move and what hours I had available outside of work and work travel. I was introduced to Tammy Weaver and Jody Tirone at Ansley by a very trusted reference from my hometown in Greenville, SC. Tammy was professional and upfront. Before we ever looked at houses we sat down at the Ansley office in Alpharetta to review current market conditions and how winning contracts were being formulated at a time when everything is a bidding war. Had I not processed this information before hand, I likely wouldn't have been prepared appropriately when it came time. Once I found the house that was right for me, Tammy went above and beyond on off hours, early, late and over the weekend to help me get under contract and secure the house I wanted. Total dedication and support. After getting under contract, and with me being new to the area, Tammy and her partner Jody Tirone provided me with an excellent list of contractors (refinished floor, full electrical rewire and new fixtures, all new interior paint, crawl space remediation). Because of the relationships and trust that came with the references they provided, I got great services under another extremely tight timeline. Tammy supported me getting a few appointments at the house while under contract (sellers still lived in) to get the quotes ahead of closing so that they could start the moment I got the keys to the house.
